No dedicated critical review of this title surfaced in any major jazz outlet searched, including AllMusic, All About Jazz, All About Jazz Italia, JazzTimes, Down Beat, JazzConvention and Jazzitalia. The album appears only as a discographic entry on the artist own site and in jazz databases and does not seem to have generated standalone press. This fits its nature as a Musica Jazz magazine attachment CD, catalog MJCD 1134, rather than a full commercial label release; magazine bundled discs rarely receive independent reviews. Searches found reviews of other Fasoli records such as London Tube, Venice Inside, Inner Sounds and Next, but nothing on this title. Background

Resume is a retrospective anthology disc gathering three Claudio Fasoli formations, issued through Musica Jazz catalog MJCD 1134 in 2000. Per Fasoli own discography and the Enciclopedia del Jazz entry, the three groups are a duo of Fasoli on tenor and soprano sax with Paolo Birro on piano; the Experience quartet of Fasoli with Michael Gassmann on trumpet, Paolino Dalla Porta on double bass and Gianni Bertoncini on drums; and Fasoli with the Lydian Sound Orchestra arranged and conducted by Riccardo Brazzale. Primary sessions were recorded in Milano in January 2000 and the Lydian orchestral session was tracked at Tala Studio in Milano. Trumpeter Michael Gassmann, the Swiss player with Discogs id 780297, appears within the Experience quartet rather than the duo or orchestra tracks. It is one of several Fasoli and Gassmann collaborations spanning from this period through later projects such as the 2016 Double Quartet Inner Sounds and the London Tube quartet.
